On behalf of the 24th Nordic Congress of Gerontology, it is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to take part in the congress arrangements as a sponsor or exhibitor. The 24thNordic Congress of Gerontology (24 NKG) takes place in Oslo, Norway, 2–4 May 2018. The theme of the congress is “Lessons of a life time”.
We want to take stock of current scientific knowledge on individual and societal ageing, and we also wish to take a critical look at where we need to focus in the future. The Nordic congresses emphasize the multidisciplinary aspects of ageing and the life course. They are an important meeting place for researchers and professionals from a broad range of disciplines who are engaged in ageing issues. The previous congress in Tampere, Finland (2016) attracted more than 900 participants from 44 countries.
The congress venue is the Oslo Congress Centre – located in the in the heart of Oslo and close to the city’s many attractions and hotels.
The 24 NKG is organised by the Norwegian Gerontological Society (NSA) and the Norwegian Geriatrics Society (NGF), in collaboration with the Norwegian National Advisory Unit on Ageing and Health, Norwegian Institute of Public Health and Norwegian Social Research (NOVA) at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences.
Further information about the Congress will be presented at this website: www.24nkg.no.
We are looking forward to see you in Oslo in May 2018!
